'Birdman' Wins the Golden Globe for Best Screenplay, Motion Picture

The Golden Globe Awards were presented on Sunday night at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles


Birdman won the Golden Globe award for best screenplay, motion picture on Sunday night.

Writers Alejando Gonzélez Iñérritu, Nicolés Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris, Armando Bo all took to the stage to claim the award.

The big honor was presented by Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

Birdman was up against Wes Anderson for The Grand Budapest Hotel, Gillian Flynn for Gone Girl, Richard Linklater for Boyhood, and Graham Moore The Imitation Game.

The 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards were hosted for the third time by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
