Julianne Moore bagged an Emmy Award on Sunday, and it was still bagged Monday morning – in the brown-paper variety – as she jetted out of Los Angeles through LAX.

The Emmy trophy is a winged woman holding an atom, the top of which could be seen poking out of the bag.

The actress, 51, who won for playing Sarah Palin in Game Change, carried her precious cargo in the simplest of carry-ons – surely giving the security guards a thrill as she put it through the metal detector.

Moore was dressed simply in a black top and grey jeans on Monday, a far cry from the stunning yellow dress she wore to the awards show.
