Felicity Huffman Reveals Cute Moment She and William H. Macy Found out They Were Both Nominated for an Emmy
The couple are both nominated for Emmy Awards this year, making them the only celebrity couple nominated.
Huffman, 53, is up for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her role in American Crime, while Macy is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Shameless.
The actress walked the red carpet with her husband of 19 years, Macy, 66, and revealed the cute moment they shared when they found out they were both nominated.
“In the morning of the nominations, when we were both nominated, he told me ‘You’re not going to win.’ I told him, ‘You’re not going to win.’ Then we gave each other a kiss!” she laughed, speaking ABC on the red carpet.
The actress said she feels no pressure to win. She won her first Primetime Emmy Award in 2005 for her role as Lynette Scavo in Desperate Housewives.
She’s been nominated three times since then.
