The Transparent cast and more are trying to raise climate change awareness

A handheld fan may have been the most popular accessory for Emmy-goers battling the L.A. heat on Sunday night.

But it was a little green ribbon that was really capturing attention on the red carpet.

The campaign is backed by the National Resources Defense Council. They currently have a petition open online to encourage world leaders to take action against climate change, and will present the document to said leaders at a summit in Paris in December.
