Last year, Laverne Cox watched the Emmys at home, alone and with a bowl of ice cream.

Now, the first-time nominee is owning the red carpet in a show-stopping, snow-white gown.

“I watch this every year, like usually my whole plan is to wake up in the beginning of the day, and I turn on E! and watch all day long,” the Orange Is the New Black star told that network’s Giuliana Rancic. “Oh, my God. Amazing!”

Though she’s since sworn off sweet treats to keep her fierce figure – “I haven’t had ice cream, well, since vacation!” she said, with a laugh – Cox, 30, didn’t have to worry about fitting into her dress: It’s a custom Marc Bouwer creation decorated with Fred Leighton diamonds.

“He didn’t even sketch it, he draped it on my body,” she said. “And there were moments during the fitting, two, I started crying because it was so beautiful.”

As her spunky OITNB character Sophia might say, “Holy s—, I look hot.”
