Plus: Jeremy Piven takes his Emmys for a drive and more stars with their statues
The Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced Sept. 18, and one thing’s for sure – the winners’ lives won’t change. At all. No, really.
At least, that’s what past winners Jeremy Piven, Megan Mullally, Kristin Chenoweth and Jackée Harry insist in a new video, where the stars talk about their post-Emmy lives.
“It definitely hasn’t changed my day-to-day life,” Mullally, who won twice for Will & Grace says. “I still get up and shower like every normal person.”
Then again, she showers with her Emmy Award – a helpful little gold statue that scrubs her back. She’s not the only one in a deep, committed relationship with her Emmys: Piven straps his three Emmys (all from his turn as Ari Gold on Entourage) into car seats before taking them for a drive.
Tune in to see the stars destined for unhealthily close relationship with their awards when the Primetime Emmys are handed out on Sunday, starting at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
