Well, it’s official: Jacob Tremblay just delivered the cutest acceptance speech for any award, ever.

The 9-year-old Room star took home the Critics’ Choice award for best young actor/actress Sunday – but it was watching Tremblay adorably stand on his tippy toes in order to be able to talk into the microphone that won the night.

“Woah. This is super cool, this is the best day of my life!” he gushed. “I first want to say thank you to all the critics who voted for me, it must be a super hard vote because of all of the other great actors in this category.”

The young actor also made it a point to thank everyone who worked with him on Room.

“I think that us working together made this movie come true and this award doesn’t just go to me for that it goes to all of you guys as well,” he said. “I also want to thank my parents and I love them very much.” (That got big awws from the audience.)

The best part? The Star Wars super fan already has the perfect spot to display his award.

“And I know where to put this. Right on the shelf right beside my Millennium Falcon!” he said.

The adorable actor, who attended the award show with his mom and dad, has developed a close friendship with his costar Brie Larson.

“She likes Star Wars like me. So that’s why we’re best friends,” Tremblay told PEOPLE at the Los Angeles premiere of Room in October. “We talk about it all the time.”
