Moretz was named the Next Generation Star at the PEOPLE Magazine Awards on Thursday for her prolific work in TV and film. Model Karlie Kloss presented her good friend Moretz with her award said in her acceptance speech at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. “I can barely walk right now, so I’m sorry for my graceful entrance,” said Moretz, who limped onstage wearing high heels despite suffering an injury while doing her own stunts on the set of her new movie The Fifth Wave. “I am only 17 years old but I feel like one of the luckiest 17-year-olds in the world. Thank you guys so much. It’s a tremendous honor,” she added. Moretz, who’s known for her roles in Kick-Ass, Hugo, Let Me In and for playing Alec Baldwin‘s teenage nemesis in 30 Rock, most recently starred in The Equalizer, If I Stay and Clouds of Sils Maria.
