In an exclusive video he filmed for PEOPLE announcing the nominees for favorite male singer, Shelton – who is hosting this year’s show – reveals he’s nominated for the award alongside Drake, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas and the Weeknd. The nominees for favorite female singer nominees include Adele, Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor, Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez and her bff Taylor Swift. “I’ve been on countless stages throughout my life, but none have promised the madness, excitement and endless slime as Nick’s Kids’ Choice Awards, which is undoubtedly the ultimate party for kids,” the Voice star, 39, told PEOPLE exclusively in November. “There is only one team here, and it’s Team Kids’ Choice so bring it on Nickelodeon!” Voting for the awards show – which airs live on March 12 at 8 p.m. ET – opens Tuesday on Nick.com.
