Directioners can breathe a sigh of relief.

For the record, One Direction is staying together.

“We’re not breaking up. We’re having too much fun!” Louis Tomlinson told E! News on the red carpet of the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.

“We’re making our record at the minute, we’re going on more tours, we’re coming out to the states in July – we’re looking forward to it, it’s all good.”

Added Harry Styles: “We just try bigger and better than the last one, try to make sure everyone has a good time.”

As for Zayn Malik’s departure from the band, Liam Payne admitted that it’s a “difficult thing to talk about” but “we’re all good with him and he’s good with us.”

Indeed, when they picked up the first award of the night – Top Duo/Group – Payne ended their speech with a sweet shout-out to their former bandmate.

“There’s one more person to share this with,” he said from the stage, “that’s our brother Zayn.”
