Black-ish stars Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross don’t mind giving themselves a big pat on the back for a job well done.

The onscreen married couple sat down to chat with each other on PEOPLE’s List – an hour-long weekly program co-hosted by Jerry O’Connell and former MTV News correspondent Suchin Pak discussing five newsworthy individuals you need to know that week – and they couldn’t quite contain their excitement over hosting the upcoming BET Awards.

“On Black-ish we’re a really incredible bottle of champagne,” said Ross. “On BET Awards it’s like you take that bottle of champagne and you shake it up and you pop that cork!”

So clearly, modesty isn’t really their thing.

“What did we learn from hosting last year?” asks Ross, 43. “Correct me if I’m wrong this was the best BET Awards ever!” responded Anderson, 45. “I’m just sayin’. ‘Correct me if I m wrong.'”

“I’m not going to correct you!” agreed Ross.

The BET Awards air Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. Tune in to PEOPLE’s List on Saturdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC
