Awards Amy Schumer Photobombs the 'Game of Thrones' Cast After Their Emmy Win: 'My Real Family' Amy Schumer puts her celebratory plan in place after Emmy win By Maria Coder Published on September 21, 2015 08:35 AM Share Tweet Pin Email Trending Videos Photo: Courtesy Amy Schumer It’s safe to say Amy Schumer has a huge Emmys night. The Inside Amy Schumer creator, writer and actress won the Emmy for best variety sketch series on Sunday. In one of her Instagram photos from the early Monday hours she’s seen at an after party bar posing with her golden-colored statuette award, which depicts a winged woman holding an atom. “I usually never drink but,” she joked. In another photo, Schumer posted a behind-the-scenes selfie with film director and comedy legend, Mel Brooks. Maybe she was star-struck – writing only “um.” She also photobombed the cast of Game of Thrones while they were posing with their Emmys, writing “My real family.” Schumer, who was uncharacteristically flustered during her acceptance speech, dedicated her Emmy to her sister Kim and also thanked the woman who did her smokey eye (“I really like it”), her head writer, “the suits who represent her” and others. “I want to thank my sister Kim, who’s the only reason I’m alive and breathing,” Schumer said. Earlier in the evening, Schumer posted a photo of herself all dolled up alongside Kim. In another photo from earlier on Sunday she thanked her beauty team for her makeover: “I love it! Thank you to my team #emmys” She also posted a shot of some pre-Emmy sustenance. And one picture for the road (or for the air?) on her way to the festivities. Hopefully Schumer got some sleep after her big win. When she presented the evening’s first award with Amy Poehler she was pretty clear on her intentions. “We’re here to present the first award of the night,” said Poehler. “Which is good because I have a blackout scheduled for 10 p.m.,” joked Schumer.
