I didn’t think and now I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,’ ” she added. Landecker, 46, and Whitford, 56 – who couldn’t keep their hands off each other during the party – began dating last summer. The actress said she never expected to find romance on set – but that she’s totally confident in their relationship. “I’m not even scared,” she said of publicly discussing her dating life. “Normally I would think like I was bringing down the evil eye but I don’t even think I can ruin it myself.” Check out PEOPLE’s full Golden Globes 2016 coverage! Landecker, who plays Sarah Pfefferman on the hit series, says the veteran TV star is a “really good guy.” “He’s an amazing person,” she raved to PEOPLE. “He’s super political and conscious and funny and incredibly talented, and he’s a great dad and, I mean, I’ve got nothing but good things to say about him.” And she’s happy to give thanks where it’s due – namely, to the series creator (and apparent matchmaker) Jill Soloway. She joked: “I say to Jill, ‘You gave me the best role of my life and you gave me the best boyfriend of my life. So thank you very much!’ “
