[BRIGHTCOVE “20968731” “” “peoplenow” “auto” ]Ariana Grande may have taken home the best female pop/rock artist of the year award at Sunday’s American Music Awards, but her grandmother Marjorie “Nonna” Grande was certainly the night’s biggest star.

Nonna sat front row with the 22-year-old at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and even got a special shot out from Grande when the “Focus” singer took the stage to accept her honor.

“I think I owe a lot of this to my Nonna, who made sure to remind me that she voted,” Grande said from the podium, before impersonating her grandmother. “She goes, ‘Ariana, I went on the computer. I voted, so I think you’ll win.’ ”

Grande’s brother Frankie, and mother Joan also joined her for the the star-studded night.

After the ceremony, the foursome read headlines about Nonna during their car ride home and cracked each other up, as captured on video by Grande.

“I feel wonderful. I didn’t know I was that good,” Nonna said in one clip after her family told her she stole the show at the AMAs.

The pop singer also shared a screen grab of an article that declared “Ariana Grande’s Grandmother Won the AMAs.”

“WE’RE…… Peeing,” Grande wrote. “#true #QueenNonna #theseArticles #AreUKidding.”
