My first job was at a poultry store. Every lunch I’d eat one rotisserie chicken. One day as I was licking my fingers, my boss asked, “Have you been taking chicken?” I said, “Yes.” He said, “You’re fired!”

At 14 I was fired from Burger King. I had a runny nose and the assistant manager didn’t like me!

I was fired from Growing Pains. Kirk Cameron and I weren’t a good match.

I got fired when I was a dishwasher at Denny’s. That set me back a little bit. You don’t realize how important dishwashers are until you do the job.

I was Becky 2 [on Roseanne]. Then I got a phone call saying that [Becky 1] Alicia Goranson wanted to come back. I said, “Okay,” and I left to join my friends traveling in Israel and Egypt.
