Behind the Seams
COAT CHECK: Kate Hudson is ready for spring—and perhaps a date with Owen Wilson—with the new cotton piqué “Maya” coat she recently scored from Pink Tartan. Hudson, a fan of the line, was spotted wearing the coat on a flight from Australia (where she was filming Fool’s Gold) and has since raved to the label about how much she likes it….

TANNING WITH THE STARS: Tango and samba lessons are all well and good, but certain Dancing with the Stars players are equally reliant on their weekly Sunday self-tanning sessions using California Tan products. “It makes me look toned and helps me feel less naked,” says Cheryl Burke. (Heather Mills and Karina Smirnoff also partake.) …

BEHIND THE SCENES
AT JESSICA ALBA‘S REVLON SHOOT
Joining the likes of Halle Berry and Eva Mendes, Jessica Alba (along with Fantastic Four costar Beau Garrett) will be the newest face of Revlon. In an exclusive interview, the star tells PEOPLE about her new gig.
What’s your makeup routine like?
I love mascara. I love a little lip gloss, tinted moisturizer, concealer—but that’s about it. I’m a 20-minute face.
Do you have any beauty secrets?
As soon as I’m done with an event or junket, I scrub all of this off as soon as possible. That’s the key to having good skin.
DREW for CoverGirl
She’s been in showbiz since she was in diapers, but Drew Barrymore is psyched about her latest job: CoverGirl model and co-creative director of her TV ad, airing in January. “I can’t wait to work with the director and really get in there,” she says of her turn behind the camera. “I want to bring an energy that is classic yet modern.”
