ON A MISSONI: Don’t get lipstick on these linens, ladies! Missoni designed the napkins—which double as scarves—and tablecloths for the place settings at the biennial Carousel of Hope gala taking place Oct. 28 in L.A. (Proceeds from the event will benefit the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes.) Halle Berry and Eva Longoria are among those who can take the napkins home; stuffing the tablecloth into one’s clutch is not recommended….

THE ROYALE TREATMENT: Daniel Craig‘s debut as the new Bond in Casino Royale doesn’t happen till Nov. 17, but rest assured he will be as dapper as ever. CLUB MED: “It was like visiting friends for the holidays,” said Patrick Dempsey on reteaming with Grey’s Anatomy castmate Ellen Pompeo on New York & Company’s holiday ad campaign, out in the beginning of November. “We were happy to see one another—like one big party!”
