SWAG TIME: ‘Tis the season of freebies, and Oscar nominees are at the center of the vortex. Doesn’t hurt to be a famous couple either. Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger are receiving $20,000 Kodak V570 digital cameras with their initials encrusted in Kwiat diamonds, despite the fact they’re reserved for Best Actress nominees only. Say “Big Cheese!” …
VICTORIA’S TRADITION: For the sixth year, Victoria’s Secret is gifting Best Actress nominees with racy lace. This year, Best Actress nominees Reese Witherspoon and the rest of the talented posse will get couture lingerie designed by Chantal Thomass and a 5.5-carat diamond brooch, all worth more than $15,000, to wear on the bra or somewhere more visible….

FLY TO THE EAGLE: The morning of his recent Mercury Lounge concert in N.Y.C., singer Teddy Geiger realized his luggage hadn’t made the trip, and he dashed to American Eagle Outfitters to pick up some threads. Geiger’s haul included hats, tees, a blazer, button-downs, boxers and belts. Geiger performed head-to-toe in AE (see the shirt he wore, left) without missing a beat….

A STEP UP: Recently, boots have been made for walking and shilling pizza bites. But these $1,000 kicks from Italy’s Golden Goose are made for the fashion-minded few like Halle Berry. The actress picked up a pair during a visit to Barneys New York in Manhattan. The price is citified but the artificial aging process produces a vintage look that makes these boots look like they’ve spent years in the country.

“The nice thing about bangs is that they’re versatile,” says stylist Brian Magallones, who cut Zooey Deschanel’s soft, sexy fringe. They can be worn with easy updos like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Amanda Peet or with retro bobs like Penélope Cruz. “Winter is a great time to try bangs,” adds Magallones. “Who wants to have hair on their face during the summer?”
Garlic smells great in the kitchen, but on your hands hours later—not so much. That’s why celebrity personal chef Yossi Faigenblat created antibacterial, odor-eliminating products for cooks. Stars like Rachel Bilson and Jeremy Piven are fans.

WEN & WHERE: Last month Felicity Huffman visited stylist Chaz Dean for help with her stressed-by-award-season hair. Dean used his WEN Fig Cleansing Conditioner on her tresses, and she was so pleased with the results she bought three gallons—one for herself and two for her sisters.

WHITE BAGS IN WINTER
The only white many people are used to seeing in the dead of winter is snow. But recently, we’ve witnessed a flurry of celebs carrying this summertime shade. Why? Fashion insiders know this is next season’s hottest color, and stars like Jennifer Lopez and Lindsay Lohan don’t want to (or have to!) wait.

Shirts that Rock On … and On
The images on Worn Free’s shirts are familiar to almost anyone who was into the music scene in the ’60s and ’70s. Their reproductions of John Lennon’s “You Are Here” and Mick Jagger’s “Crazy World Ain’t It” tees are being worn by Keith Urban, Wilmer Valderrama and Desperate Housewives’ Jesse Metcalfe. Each comes with a tag that explains the logo’s history and a photo of the famous musician wearing it back in the day.
