Vuitton-athon!

At the second-annual Louis Vuitton United Cancer Front Gala in L.A., these stars were lovely in Louis, wearing pretty Vuitton dresses that flattered and flared without a logo in sight

Kristin Davis in satin and organza.

Marcia Cross chose a green wool a dress with taffeta hem.

Ashanti added bling with a $252,000 Vuitton white-gold-and-diamond choker.

Kate Bosworth wore a frock adorned with pearls, flowers and tulle.

WINNER’S CIRCLE

Glamour’s Women of the Year titles don’t come with a crown, but honoree Kate Winslet looked like a queen in a regal purple Ben de Lisi gown at the magazine’s N.Y.C. gala.

DOUBLE HAPPINESS: When Julia Roberts gives birth to twins in January, she’ll be getting two for one. That’s not the only way her pregnancy resembles a Chinese restaurant’s lunch special. The mom-to-be got a glimpse of her future in two Fortune Tees, wearable takes on fortune cookies that come in takeout containers and make predictions such as “Sleepless nights are in my near future.” (The shirts are follow-ups to the line’s popular baby onesies.) Roberts’s sayings didn’t come from Confucius, however—Oprah Winfrey sent them as a gift.

WARM AND FUZZY: Carrie Bradshaw shopped for good style but post-Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker wants us to spend for a good cause. The Gap spokeswoman is promoting Brannan the Bear, a teddy in a miniversion of GapKids Warmest Jacket. One hundred percent of the proceeds from Brannan sales will go to send more than 70,000 needy children a matching kid-size coat.

JOY TO THE GIRL: Who’s the person responsible for Jennifer Garner‘s rosy cheeks and gleaming skin? Well, it ain’t Ben Affleck. The Alias star is raving about the new line of skin-care products from celebrity facialist Nerida Joy, who has soothed the skin of Courteney Cox Arquette, Jennifer Aniston and Claudia Schiffer. “This is the first product I have ever used that I could see a complete difference in my skin,” says Garner of the line, which hits stores on Dec. 1. “It glowed immediately. I try many products but now I’m faithful to Nerida Joy.” Sounds like she’s never known love like this before.

SEW LA TI DO!: They’ve got you grooving to their music; now certain singers want to make sure that when you shake your booty, it’s wrapped in their clothes. In March Dillard’s launches Reba McEntire’s Reba collection, which McEntire hopes “will make women wearing it feel good about themselves.” And Jessica Simpson‘s label Sweet Kisses hits department stores in time for back-to-school, so aspiring divas can start classes on a high note.

Nicole Loves Her…

NOTIFY Consider them Notified: Sarah Jessica Parker, Uma Thurman and Linda Evangelista all own clothing from Notify, a luxury denim brand by the creator of Seven jeans. But Nicole Kidman is more like…hypnotized. After seeing her stylist L’Wren Scott wearing Notify, Kidman scored two suitcases of the line’s pieces for herself. As might be expected from the face of Chanel, the actress doesn’t wear her denim for just knocking around the supermarket: She paired Notify jeans with a Chanel jacket in Paris and used a Notify jacket to dress up white jeans in Venice.

OUT-THERE HAIR

These over-the-top updos are so ornately embellished they risk falling off the head—or even flying away.

STAR TALK

FASHIONISTAS INSIST: “The moon boot is the new UGG!” “The mukluk is the new UGG!” But what about the old UGGs? Last year they ruled the streets. We asked celebs: This winter will you give them the boot?

“I will still wear UGGs. They are a timeless surfer look that has been around forever. Just because they happened to be overly popular last year doesn’t take away from that. Plus, living in New York, you can’t beat how functional they are.” Chloë Sevigny

“UGGs are extremely comfortable so I still wear them. However, I love all the new Michael Kors with little heels which I will be wearing out.” Jessica Simpson

“They’re still stylish, and as a matter of fact, I’m wearing a pair right now.”
