Snow White

A cool flurry has blanketed some of Hollywood’s hottest femme fatales. From Jenna Elfman’s lambs-wool-lined leather coat to Kim Cattrall’s Tibetan lamb chubby to J.Lo’s loose poncho, white fuzzy coverings—worn with denim or designer dresses—are luxe and downright cuddly. “White is fresh, sweet and more innocent than chic, dark, downtown jackets,” says star stylist Robin Page. For snow bunnies who want to hop on the trend, “pair them with frosty, shimmery makeup and rosy cheeks or a great tan for that healthy après-ski look,” adds Page. Now that’s a real snow job…

Behind the Seams

Sarah Jessica Parker tulled around the premiere of Matthew Broderick’s second stint in The Producers in a flouncy Oscar de la Renta.

MAD FOR MADDEN: What Madge wants, Madge gets. When Madonna spied a pair of Steve Madden pink suede, faux-fur boots while shopping in West Hollywood last month, she had to have them. Alas, they didn’t have a pair for her size-8 tootsies. After raving about how fabulous the boots were, the store arranged to have Madden’s peeps overnight her a pair. It helps to be a Material Girl with clout….

BIO IONIC WOMEN: Halle Berry and Hilary Duff may look like they spend a million bucks on their hair, but their real secret is Bio Ionic’s Micro Hydration Therapy line, which claims to smooth locks with negatively charged ions. Sounds high-tech, but does it make that nnn-nnn sound when you apply it?…

AND THE WINNERS ARE…: The presenters at the Jan. 25 Golden Globes. They will each receive a $26,000 gift box from INSTYLE and the Hollywood Foreign Press, including a $7,000 spa and hotel package, a $5,000 photo session, a $500 bottle of Clive Christian’s Most Expensive Perfume in the World, a De Beers diamond pin, a Donna Karan quilt, Mikimoto pearl earrings, men’s and women’s products from Kiehl’s, a Sports Club/L.A. membership and—get this—an Evolution surfboard. With a prize like that, who’s going to want to win a lousy old award?…

CAPITAL IDEA: Looks like a trouser, fits like a jean. Sound familiar? Well, the concept of elegance combined with comfort isn’t new, but Capital Tailors jeans are. Cameron Diaz, Charlize Theron and Katie Holmes are a few who have snagged the tailored denim pants. Low maintenance for high-style gals.

Twice as Nice

Paris Hilton and Naomi Watts are one-item wonders thanks to a simple swap. By losing her skirt, Hilton went from funky-heiress-who-lunches to street chic, while Watts traded uptown for down by shedding her shoes.

High-Stakes Rollers

Britney Spears may have made a losing bet with her quickie Vegas wedding, but her taste in Sin City jewelry is a sure thing. The pop princess and stars Gwen Stefani and Molly Sims are flirting with chance in their new, pricey, casino-themed gems. Sims wore her diamond-die Lizzie Scheck necklace on her NBC show Las Vegas. What do you wanna bet it was more for looks than luck?

Does J.Lo know? Kimberly Stewart has labeled herself “Mrs. Affleck.” In fact, a bevy of celebs like Nicky Hilton (a.k.a. “Mrs. Kutcher”) are claiming Hollywood’s hunkiest with Priorities’ line of “Mrs.” tanks and sweatshirts. The bestseller? “Mrs. Timber-lake.” Cameron Diaz, get in line!
