Best Looks of the Week
Three foolproof ways to steal the spotlight: Wear white post-summer, go backless, and flaunt some leg via a back slit as Bosworth does in Alexandre Vauthier Couture at the Hammer Museum Gala in Westwood, Calif.
Another star showing skin in an unexpected way, Swank chooses a cutout Delpozo design and white Casadei stilettos for the Homesman premiere in East Hampton, N.Y.
The Chanel spokesgal sports a black- and-silver mini from the label plus glittery Louboutins at the New York Film Festival premiere of Clouds of Sils Maria.
Looking almost bridal, the actress shines in a delicate lace Gucci Première gown, complete with a mini train and accessorized with Bulgari statement earrings, at the Birdman presentation in N.Y.C.
Of Longoria’s seven (!) looks at the ALMA Awards in Pasadena, Calif., this plunging, beaded Emilio Pucci mini with Oscar Tiye shoes is our fave.

Behind the Scenes with Gisele
ALL THE DETAILS ON BUNDCHEN’S FIRST CHANEL NO. 5 SHORT FILM, SHOT BY BAZ LUHRMANN AND STYLED BY PRODUCTION AND COSTUME DESIGNER CATHERINE MARTIN
Martin paired the “most delicate pale-pink chiffon feathered dress” with “beautiful sequined sneakers” from the Chanel Spring 2014 Couture show.
Her hair was inspired by Sophia Loren in the ’60s!
“It was definitely different than my everyday job,” the supermodel says of shooting with Luhrmann. “It was an amazing experience. We had a lot of fun.”
The director and the star (in sequined Chanel Haute Couture) celebrate the film at a dinner in New York City on Oct. 13.
Karl Lagerfeld designed this No. 5 wetsuit specially for the shoot.
“I really wanted this idea of surfing [in the film] because it’s such an extreme sport and the least likely thing you associate with Chanel No. 5,” says Luhrmann, who adds that Bündchen is a “very good surfer.”
“Gisele is extremely down-to-earth, very funny, very intelligent and a very forward-moving, powerful woman,” notes Luhrmann.
Recognize this handsome face? Actor Michiel Huisman from Nashville and Game of Thrones plays Bündchen’s husband (and shares a rather passionate kiss with her) onscreen.
“Chanel No.5 is the most iconic fragrance,” says Bündchen. Adds Martin: “It makes you feel grown-up and sophisticated.”
