Stephen Barker Liles & Jenna Kennedy's Family Affair

The view from Nashville’s Love Circle—one of the highest points in the city—is stunning. But on the afternoon of Aug. 24, it wasn’t the scenery that was taking Stephen Barker Liles’s breath away. “I was holding Jett and looking out at the skyline when Jenna came up behind us and tapped me on the shoulder,” says the Love and Theft singer of the moment he first saw bride-to-be Jenna Kennedy in her David Tutera wedding gown. “I turned around, and she looked so incredible. Of course I cried! I’m very emotional!”

The couple—and their 9-month-old son Jett—took photos at pal John Rich’s spectacular hilltop home hours before they said “I do” at the downtown event space called the Ruby. Happily witnessed by 200-plus guests, the ceremony and reception was a true family affair: Jenna’s brother Joe walked her down the aisle; Stephen’s dad, Donnie Liles, officiated; and even Jett played a role—the couple incorporated a baby dedication into the ceremony.

After several hours of eating, moonshine drinking, dancing and a sparkler send-off, they all continued celebrating into the night at a local bar. Asked what married-man counsel he had given Liles, bandmate Eric Gunderson smiled. “I don’t think they need my advice,” he says. “They’re so in love with each other and their baby. They have so much to look forward to.”
