Getting engaged to jeweler Albert DePrisco was “a leap of faith,” says Lisa Niemi, who lost her husband Patrick Swayze to pancreatic cancer in ’09. “But he proved himself to be every bit the wonderful man I thought he might be.” After Niemi and DePrisco, both 58, exchanged vows on May 25, she says, “I look into our future together and all I see is happiness.”

The newlyweds celebrated at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Fla.

The pair performed a dance at the reception.

“Albert was the most steady about getting married,” says Niemi. “He knew I still loved Patrick but told me, ‘I’m here to love you now.'”

“The more I learned about him, the more I fell in love with him,” says Niemi (in an Oscar de la Renta gown) of her new husband.

“It doesn’t hurt to be married to a jeweler who has good taste!” jokes Niemi of their rings.

More than 50 guests enjoyed a four-tier wedding cake and later danced to music by Michael Bublé and Steve Tyrell.
