J.LO’S NEW VIDEO

THE BRONX, JAN. 15

Native New Yorker Jennifer Lopez returns to her roots to film a video for her single “Hold You Down.”

Lopez collaborates with a fellow Bronx native, rapper Fat Joe, on the song for her upcoming album, Rebirth. “In the video, we’re reminiscing about where we grew up and how far we’ve come,” says Joe.

Filmed mainly in an abandoned parking lot, the video took 21 hours to shoot, although Lopez did break to sign autographs for fans.

“I think they’re great,” says Fat Joe of his longtime friend Lopez and her husband of seven months, Marc Anthony. “He’s having fun helping his wife out.” Sure enough, Anthony stayed for the duration of the filming.

“The shoot was fun but very cold,” says one on-set observer. “But she stood out there and didn’t make a peep.”

Although she didn’t seem to have cold feet when swaddled in Balenciaga lace-up stilettos (left), Lopez warmed to a pair of furry boots, worn over True Religion jeans.

In an indoor shot, the singer chills out wearing a mix of couture (a glam and glittery Dolce & Gabbana gown) and cozy chic (a D Squared hooded sweatshirt).
