In deep cover since his Seinfeld sign-off last month, Jerry Seinfeld reemerged on the streets of Manhattan for a photo shoot promoting his stand-up show Jerry Seinfeld Live: I’m Telling You for the Last Time…which will air on HBO Aug. 9.

There was a whole lotta shakin’ going on between Soul Food’s spicy Vanessa L. Williams and Latin pop star Chayanne on the Brooklyn set of their video “You Are My Home.” The song is featured on the soundtrack of their musical romance Dance with Me, due July 31.

In London once again to reshoot scenes from their top-secret psychosexual thriller Eyes Wide Shut, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman broke away from the set for a little nourishment at a local eatery. The film, directed by the famously persnickety Stanley Kubrick, had supposedly wrapped Jan. 31 after a 15-month shoot.

Dirty dancer Patrick Swayze demonstrated his technique at the new Planet Hollywood in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. “My body’s getting into really good shape,” says Swayze, who is training with wife Lisa Niemi (left) to do the dance movie Without a Word.

While touring a microchip factory in Newport, Wales, Prince Charles demonstrated the British art of keeping a stiff upper lip. “He went out of his way to talk to everyone,” says factory manager Peter Martineau. “He put everyone at ease.”

To celebrate Northern Ireland’s recent peace accord, more than 15,000 Protestants and Catholics put aside their political differences to do the “Crocodile Rock” when Elton John performed a benefit concert at Belfast’s Stormont Castle. “I’ve looked forward to this for a long time,” John told the crowd. “It’s great to be back in the city.” The British pop star went on to add before his final encore, “I pray you get peace.”
