John Leguizamo proved himself entirely cape-able of playing a pesky alien when he did a cameo for the Nickelodeon channel’s All That, a variety show featuring an all-kid cast. His episode airs Feb. 15. Leguizamo will again make a nuisance of himself when he stars as a scam artist in The Pest, a comedy opening Feb. 7.
Metro man Eddie Murphy, with wife Nicole, showed urban cool at the L.A. premiere of his new thriller, while his onscreen sweetie, British actress Carmen Ejogo (below), stayed on red alert. Metro took in a lackluster $11.4 million its opening weekend.
“I mean, how can you look at Matthew McConaughey and not go, ‘What a beautiful man?’ ” Sandra Bullock recently told Prime-Time Live, then proved her point by bringing her A Time to Kill costar to the Los Angeles opening of her newest movie, a romantic drama called In Love and War. So what’s the story with these two? “Just friends,” insist reps for both.
We’re not ready to say that onetime MTV Weasel Pauly Shore has been reborn as Cary Grant, but actress Charlotte Ross sure swooned for him when the pair hyped their new sitcom Pauly at the Fox press tour in Pasadena, Calif. In Pauly, starting this spring, Shore plays a pampered rich guy whose world gets jolted by Ross, his dad’s very sexy, young wife-to-be.

Not waiting to inhale, Chuck Norris and James Belushi lit up the Dominican Republic when the duo visited to sample tobacco for a signature line of cigars. The stogies will be marketed by Lone Wolf International, a company in which the Walker, Texas Ranger star and Belushi are investors.
