Cellist Mstislav Rostropovich, 62, was tutu much at violinist Isaac Stern’s 70th birthday bash in San Francisco. Aptly, Rostropovich performed the Swan section from Saint-Saëns’s Carnival of the Animals.

It was easy as pie to enrage socialite Claus von Bülow, 63, and his daughter, Cosima, 23, who made a quick exit from a private London bash after hired strippers wildly pelted many guests with cream pie.
