BEFORE AFTER ELIN NORDEGREN DEMO DETAILS After razing the $12 million oceanfront North Palm Beach mansion Elin Nordegren, 32, bought last year, Tiger Woods‘ ex-wife is starting over. “The house wasn’t built to the South Florida wind-loading codes of today that were put in place because of hurricanes,” her builder, Dan Reedy of Onshore Construction and Development, tells PEOPLE. “It made more sense to tear [it] down.” Nordegren gave Habitat for Humanity four weeks to salvage tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of cabinets, hardware and fixtures. “We are so grateful to Elin,” says Habitat’s local director of deconstruction Bobbi Blodgett. “It’s rare we get this kind of donation.”
