After months of quietly dating, TV and radio host Ryan Seacrest, 35, and dancer-turned-country-singer Julianne Hough, 21, are stepping out publicly. “Things have gotten more serious over the last month,” a source tells Scoop of the couple, who knew each other professionally before they were first linked in March. “She is totally his type,” the source says of Hough, who costars in the upcoming film Burlesque and returns to Dancing with the Stars this fall. “He thinks she’s gorgeous and just the sweetest thing.” On June 16 the pair shared an intimate dinner at the Los Angeles restaurant Red O; on June 20 they went shopping in Malibu. Despite a 14-year age gap, “they’re perfect for each other,” says the source.

Palm Springs police say recovering addict Jeremy London, 37, was kidnapped June 10, when a man helping him change a flat tire held him at gunpoint and “forced” him to do drugs. London’s rep says the “shaken” actor is helping with the investigation. Says London’s twin, Jason: “I’m glad my brother is okay, but I have serious questions about what transpired. His health is our No. 1 concern.”

After his June 16 arrest on suspicion of drunk driving-his second DUI incident in six years-Chris Klein, 31, “was forced to take a clear look at a problem,” his rep tells PEOPLE. The American Pie actor has since checked into a 30-day addiction program. “He cannot beat this disease alone.”

When a scantily clad Miley Cyrus charged the stage at Canada’s MuchMusic Video Awards on June 20, the Can’t Be Tamed singer proved she’s ready to divorce her Disney image. “Miley’s at that age where she’s experimenting,” says a family friend. “This is all a part of her growing up and crossing over.” Along with wearing racy outfits, Cyrus, 17, trimmed and highlighted her hair for a “more mature” look, says Vickie Vidov of Gemini 14 Salon, where Cyrus spent nine hours for her transformation. “She’s becoming a woman.”
