The singer was coy about her current romantic status, but said, “The guys now versus the guys that were might be a little better. I’ve never really had that much luck with them.” Still, she remains a hopeless romantic: “If you really care about someone, you make the time.” Lindsay Lohan84 MINUTES IN JAIL … SHE’S READY FOR A “NEW START” On Nov. 15 Lindsay Lohan checked into a Lynwood jail to serve her minimum 24-hour sentence as part of her plea deal in two DUI cases. How long was her stint behind bars? 84 minutes! According to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, Lohan, 21, turned herself in at 10:30 a.m. and was released at 11:54 a.m. The jail has a policy of releasing nonviolent offenders early due to overcrowding. “Lindsay has been given a new start and will put this behind her,” Lohan’s mom, Dina, tells Scoop. Lohan and her boyfriend, fellow Cirque Lodge alumus Riley Giles, arrived in New York City Nov. 18 and were scheduled to spend Thanksgiving with the Lohan clan on Long Island, N.Y. And when she returns to L.A., she’ll pick up the search for a new home. She has been spotted looking at apartments and a four-bedroom house once owned by Liza Minnelli. “She just wants a new place to stay in Los Angeles,” says a source. “Away from the Chateau and her old life.” The Hills FASHION FACE-OFF!
