Scene Stealers! Knox and Viv in Italy

Leave the wine-tasting to the grown-ups and the museum trips to their big siblings: For 20-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, life in Venice is all about gondola-spotting. At a recent lunch with parents Angelina Jolie, 34, and Brad Pitt, 46, at the Hotel Gritti Palace, “Knox and Vivienne kept coming out onto the canal-view patio to watch the boats,” says an eyewitness. “They seemed to love it.” Until the tykes ran out of steam: “Brad and Angie returned to their palazzo at naptime.”

Fortunately their rented home has a balcony overlooking the Grand Canal. Of course sibs Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 5, and Shiloh, 3, have been having fun too. Brad and Angelina “have been taking them out separately for age-appropriate outings,” says a source. Water taxis are one activity the whole family enjoys. “The kids all know to wait their turn before they get on,” says an observer. “It’s really amazing to see how Brad and Angelina handle their family.”
