Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively: Playing House

They’re young, in love and insanely hot-bring on the car pool runs and yard work. After weeks of house-hunting together in New York City’s northern suburbs, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are settling into a “beautiful country home,” says a source. Lively purchased the $2 million-plus house in Bedford, a ritzy commuter town that’s home to Ralph Lauren and Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. The horsey environs are perfect for the low-key pair. “This is totally who Blake is,” says an insider close to the Gossip Girl star. “She’s really happy. They’re really happy.”

The couple, who became an item last fall after costarring in Green Lantern, have been exploring the area and even going horseback riding with new neighbor Martha Stewart. Reynolds, 35, “is totally a country boy,” says the insider, while Lively, 24, “will be in the kitchen making pies.” So will the mailbox read “Mr. and Mrs.” anytime soon? Reynolds is still getting over his 2011 divorce from Scarlett Johansson, and Lively is young, says the insider, but “it will happen eventually, I’m sure.”
