10 QUESTIONS for Miranda Lambert
The singer, whose new CD Revolution is out Sept. 29, fills in the blanks on her musical history and a few of her favorite things
1 The first concert I ever saw was…
Garth Brooks. My mom and dad took me. I was 10, and it was life-changing.
2 The first CD I ever bought was…
Shania Twain’s Come On Over. I always pestered my parents to buy me country CDs, but that is the first I bought with my own money.
3 My first celebrity crush was…
Jonathan Taylor Thomas from Home Improvement. I was 11. I never got to meet him, but I’d still like to ’cause he’s still cute!
4 If I were stuck on a desert island, I’d want to have…
Burt’s Bees lip balm, Merle Haggard’s box set and matches. I don’t want to have to start from scratch.
5 The thing I like best about myself is…
I love really hard. I don’t love that many, but the people I love, I love with all my heart.
6 The thing I wish I could change about myself is…
7 I take my coffee…
Actually, I take my creamer with a little coffee.
8 The last thing I do every night is…
Call my boyfriend [singer Blake Shelton].
9 The worst date I ever had was…
A guy who called his mother seven times, from the time we left till we got home. I like a boy who likes his mother, but I don’t like a mama’s boy.
10 The best date I ever had was…
Totally redneck! Out on a boat with Blake, fishing all day. I caught a 12-lb. and a 15-lb. catfish. He didn’t catch anything!
The quartet—Rachel Reinert, Mike Gossin, Cheyenne Kimball and Tom Gossin—are currently touring with Taylor Swift and just released their self-titled debut CD. Here are three reasons to give them a listen:
1. THEY’RE SENSITIVE: “I love the cryers—the person in the meet-and-greet line about to explode with emotion,” says Tom Gossin. “We hug them and say, ‘It’s okay.’ ”
2. THEY SMELL NICE: “Taylor Swift calls us the best smelling band in the country,” he admits.
3. THEY’RE ANIMAL LOVERS: “I miss my dog horribly,” says Tom, who left his boxer Paris with his dad to go on the road. “She’s the love of my life. In my mind, I dedicate shows to her and pray she doesn’t hate me.”

Charles Kelley’s ISLAND WEDDING
The Lady Antebellum singer says ‘I Do’ in a super-private ceremony in the Bahamas
With the sun just starting to set over a pink sand beach in the Bahamas on July 6, Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley, 27, married his girlfriend of almost three years, Nashville publicist Cassie McConnell, 26. His favorite moment? “When she walked out in the dress and veil,” says Kelley. “She looked absolutely gorgeous.” The wedding was a family affair, with about 25 guests including Kelley’s brother Josh and wife Katherine Heigl. “We had dinner with our families at this long table looking over the ocean, then we had a bonfire on the beach,” says Kelley. “We don’t get to spend much time with our families, so to all be together in such a beautiful place was really special.”
The couple exchanged a simple diamond eternity band (for her) and gold ring (for him) during their vows.
The brothers let loose back in the room at the Runaway Hill Inn. At the ceremony, big bro Josh played guitar and sang “Home to Me,” a song he wrote, as the bride walked down the aisle.
The wedding dinner featured lobster and beef tenderloin
