Sure, the Mona Lisa is great, but Bruce Willis and Brooke Burns, who toured the Louvre hand-in-hand on March 21, seemed to be having a lot more fun. “They looked so comfortable together,” says one museum-goer of the couple, who took a week-long trip to Paris last month to celebrate their birthdays. At the Louvre the Winged Victory statue and the paintings in the medieval rooms, where the couple strolled, must have felt disappointingly static by comparison. “More people were looking at them,” says the eyewitness, “than at the art.”

They do get around. Since Willis— who reprises his role of former hit man Jimmy “The Tulip” Tudeski in the new comedy The Whole Ten Yards—asked her out last summer, the pair have been a paparazzo’s dream, serving up public displays of affection all over the globe: on a Costa Rican beach, at a New York Yankees World Series game, at the Radio Music Awards in Vegas, at their joint L.A. birthday party last month (celebrating his 49th and her 26th) and during their Paris jaunt, where they amused themselves by spraying the trailing photographers with water. When Willis visited the Costa Rica set of Burns’s comedy Death to the Supermodels late last August, “she was just swept away,” says costar Matt Winston. “There’s a very pure, romantic energy around the two of them.”

The relationship has also put Willis on equal footing with ex-wife Demi Moore in the May-December romance sweepstakes. (Moore, 41, has been dating 26-year-old Ashton Kutcher since last spring.) As for Burns—-the former Dog Eat Dog host who is now a special correspondent for Fox Sports Net’s Best Damn Sports Show Period—-the Willis romance has enhanced her public profile. She recently went from blonde to brunette because “it’s more sophisticated,” says her manager Barbara Stark, “and people see her differently when she goes in for auditions.” That’s not all people see in the new brunette: “She looks like a younger Demi Moore,” marveled the Louvre-goer. (Willis and Moore divorced in 2000 and share custody of their three daughters; Burns shares custody of daughter Madison, 3, with her ex-husband, actor Julian McMahon.)

While filming Yards, a sequel to 2000’s The Whole Nine Yards, Willis and costar Matthew Perry often tried “to crack each other up,” says Willis. He has a similar rapport with Burns, whom Winston calls “just a goofball.” Adds a friend of the couple: “She just takes over a room.” How about more than one room? The actor—-who is filming the crime drama Hostage—- treads lightly when asked if he and Burns plan to set up house permanently. “I want to get married, like, seven times,” he says. “I’m patterning myself after Mickey Rooney.”
