I worked with all these Texas boys—it was a very boyish place. I wanted to write a girlie version.

No, but I was inspired by the experiences of Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin—the extra layer of scrutiny they get that men don’t.

HOW’S BUSH DOING?

He seems much more relaxed. When a President no longer has the weight of the office on his shoulders, there’s an almost physical difference.
