Why are David (Kung Fu) Carradine and Kate (Charlie’s Angels) Jackson racing through the Florida Everglades in a ’57 Chevy? They’re chasing after some poison moonshine, that’s why. Kate’s dad (Roger C. Carmel) is in the soft drink business as a cover for manufacturing the stronger stuff, and the syndicate wants to take over his still. When Carradine, playing a small-time moonshine runner, sets out to recover a bad batch of Dad’s brew, he becomes the latest entry on the mob’s hit parade. In essence the movie is one long chase scene, with Everglades airboats and the de rigueur smashed crates of squawking chickens. It has some genuinely funny moments. (PG)
