Novelist Alistair (Guns of Navarone) MacLean’s first drama written for TV is taut, gripping entertainment. Keir Dullea and Britt Ekland star as international criminals who enlist Peter Fonda, Maud Adams (see p. 84), Billy Dee Williams and Jack Lenoir in their scheme to hold the mother of a U.S. President and the Eiffel Tower for ransom. Douglas Fairbanks Jr., head of an international anticrime force, tries to rescue her.
