The networks are still playing fickle, adding four more new series this week. Most were being thrown together at the last minute, so they were not available for review. Wildside, which stars Howard E. Rollins Jr. and premieres on ABC Thursday, marks the return of the Western to TV (Bret Maverick, the last one of note, left in 1982). NBC’s Under One Roof, premiering Saturday, gives new jobs to the stars of Spencer, except Chad Lowe. And NBC’s Half Nelson, premiering Sunday, is a show about a half-pint detective. Enough said. They’ll be reviewed later. The fourth, Eye to Eye, is reviewed below.
