Busy knocking ’em dead as Woman of the Year on Broadway and gearing up to write a book on fitness, Raquel allows the only movie she saw was E.T., and “I cried like crazy.” On two other nights off she was glued to the tube for NBC’s miniseries Little Gloria…Happy at Last. She enjoyed reading Robert Lacey’s The Kingdom, about the Saudi royal family, and Jean Stein’s Edie. “I’m very interested in stories of real people and their relationship to society,” says Raquel. Expecting her third child next summer at 42, Raquel will break from work and have more time for “classical music, especially Placido Domingo. Classical music lifts you. It makes you dream.”
