Aliens take over the tube this week with the premieres of all three fantasy-anthology shows: The Twilight Zone is reviewed and graded below; Steven Spielberg wouldn’t let anybody—probably not even Amy Irving—see his Amazing Stories, which premieres on Sunday the 29th, so that will be graded later; and Alfred Hitchcock Presents, which premieres the same night on NBC, was reviewed last season (grade: B). Dynasty drops the other shoe with its season premiere on the 25th. The next night NBC brings back its super Thursday lineup: Cosby (as wonderful as ever with an episode about the first day of school), Family Ties, Cheers, Night Court and Hill Street. But the real battle comes on Friday the 27th when Dallas and Miami Wee sun-belt it out toe-to-toe.
