Aidan Quinn, Brian Dennehy and Stockard Channing take what might be putty in the hands of other actors and make it art. Quinn is a bystander who witnesses a mob rubout. Dennehy and Channing represent law enforcement, trying to convince Quinn that he “must do the right thing.” Should Quinn testify and jeopardize his family? The film puts you on an emotional roller coaster, debating your own conscience as the hero debates his. It’s a worthwhile ride.
