>• The 20-year-old punk-pop princess—whose band recently released Brand New Eyes—picks the women who rock her world.

We toured with No Doubt this summer. Gwen was super cool. She’d run by with her trainer in a cropped shirt, and I’d be like, “Well, I’m not going to catering now!” But she works hard for those abs after two babies.

She’s French—a great artist and an actress as well. Recently my boyfriend [New Found Glory’s Chad Gilbert] played her song “S—ty Day” for me, and I just thought it ruled. Any girl would listen and go, “I have days like this all the time!”

I love the Sugarcubes. “Leash Called Love” is my favorite thing Björk has done. When I had laryngitis, people said, “Don’t worry, Björk lost her voice when she was younger.” I was like, “Good. If she can sing like that now, I’ll be okay.”

I started listening to her in the Distillers when I was 13 or 14. I was really influenced by her. She was really cool and seemed like a strong female. Now she is [fronting] Spinnerette.
