What’s so “outrageous” about two looneys—-a schizophrenic young woman and an aspiring female impersonator—setting up house together and trying to survive in a not-altogether-sane world? What is outrageous is that this fast, funny, fresh first effort from director Richard Benner wins the viewer over completely. Craig Russell, a closet Tallulah Bankhead, steals the show with first-class impersonations of, among others, Bette Davis, Mae West and Barbra Streisand. Crummy name for a classy flick. (PG)
