>INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE

Moms and daughters can watch—and have a great time—but this is a father-and-son movie if ever there was one. Indy’s dad shows up, in the formidable person of Sean Connery, and the Joneses head off to seek the Holy Grail. Harrison Ford, as Indy, matches wry cracks with Connery. Steven Spielberg directs zestfully and avoids the bitter violence that marred The Temple of Doom. The only things wrong with this tape are that it carries a soft-drink commercial and a $24.95 price tag. (Paramount)
