Your album title is a play on Kanye West‘s Yeezus. Are you a fan?

I love all his albums, especially The College Dropout. He’s always pushing boundaries. He’s an incredible artist.

You’re now married with two kids. How has that changed you musically?

On this album, I’m very happy in my home life and romantic relationship, so my acerbic commentary is on more of a social level. Before there were harsher messages, usually directed towards ex-lovers that pissed me off.

Would you ever collaborate with your fellow Brit Adele?

I don’t think I can bring anything to an Adele record. She’s doing quite all right on her own. [Laughs.]

Your brother Alfie plays Theon Greyjoy on Game of Thrones. Ever want to make a cameo?

It’s just icing on the cake that I’m remotely associated with that show!
