Cindy Buxton and Annie Price (page 43) are two intrepid nature-film makers who were working at the penguin colony on South Georgia Island when their lives were interrupted by the war between Great Britain and Argentina in the Falklands. Before they were rescued (after six weeks) by the British marines, the women compiled an engrossing film record of life with some 40,000 king penguins on the Antarctic island.
