A hybrid of Entertainment Tonight and At the Movies, this fast-paced show reports on new videos, presents film clips and recommends tapes to pick up at the local video store and broadcast programs worth taping. The hosts call Inside Video (“IV”?) the show to watch “before you press the play button.” Fine, But it needs a more critical eye. They make Corey Feldman’s Dream a Little Dream sound like Citizen Kane. Couch potatoes will like this program hosted by two E.T. refugees, dour Eric Burns and perky Paula McClure. She is so perky, in fact, that she makes E.T.’s Mary Hart look like Sad Sack.
