We didn’t need another one of those!” Instead, the guys, who had been hanging out with cowriter Rodney Clawson, called bandmate Hillary Scott to their tour bus for a girl’s-eye view. “I was like, ‘What a cool flip to have it from a female’s perspective and be about her taking her heartbreak by the horns,’ ” Scott says. “It was totally relatable to me. You have those moments where you want to stay home with a pint of Ben & Jerry’s and cry yourself to sleep, but you let your girls take you out and make a memory and have some fun. In my own life I had moments where my girls would say, ‘Come on!’ and bring me out.”
