IS THAT YOUR NATIVE ACCENT IN THE GHOST WRITER?
I am British born, but I’m from (Liverpool), and the accent we had to use for the film was what the English call a posh accent.
WAS IT TOUGH TO TAKE ON A CHARACTER SO DIFFERENT FROM YOUR SEX ALTER EGO SAMANTHA?
It was, actually. I love Samantha, but as an actor I enjoy playing different kinds of roles. Working with (director Roman Polanski) is quite motivating. You want to give him your best.
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM SATC 2?
I thought the material was very fresh and funny. The first film was catching up with the girls. This one is just a lot of fun.
ANY NEW MEN FOR SAMANTHA?
I signed my life savings away if I tell plot points. All I can say is we had a really terrific time making (the movie)!
WHAT WAS THE BEST PART ABOUT REUNITING WITH THE LADIES?
There is such a wonderful feeling of family. It felt like summer camp.
