He may be taller, darker and handsomer than Richard Burton and Richard Harris, but nobody ever accused Rock Hudson of matching their deep and melodious ways with the English language. Hudson nonetheless takes on their old role as the sadly naive King Arthur in this touring production of the Lerner and Loewe musical. The company—with Southern stock veteran Sherry Mathis as Guenevere—will try happily ever-aftering in 12 cities, opening in Dallas this week through June 19, then moving to Cohasset, Mass.
